Product Features

EK3S is an IP67 sealed, male/female quick-connect battery connector designed for reliable AC/DC power and DC battery connections in harsh environments. A built-in locking mechanism helps prevent accidental disengagement, while the anti-reverse (keyed) design reduces mating errors during installation and maintenance. With a 50A / 600V rating and 6–10 AWG cable compatibility, EK3S is well-suited for power tools, UPS systems, portable devices, medical equipment, and general AC/DC power applications.

Locking design

The plug features an integrated lock that is easy to operate and helps prevent loosening or drop-out, improving connection safety.

Anti-reverse (fool-proof) design

A keyed anti-reverse structure helps prevent incorrect mating, reducing mistakes during operation and service.

Waterproof & dust-proof design

The mating interface is tightly sealed and equipped with waterproof rubber plugs, supporting demanding outdoor or contaminated environments.

Applications

Forklift & Material Handling

Battery swapping and charging operations requiring frequent, reliable connections with mismating prevention across mixed fleets.

UPS & Backup Power

DC connections for UPS and backup battery systems where fast service and connection reliability are critical.

Outdoor & Mobile Power

Sealed DC connections for equipment exposed to water/dust and vibration in field or mobile use.

FAQ

Q: What is the EK3S connector used for?

A: EK3S is an IP67 sealed DC power/battery connector for applications such as fleet charging stations, material handling equipment, UPS/backup power, and outdoor/mobile power connections where quick service and reliable mating are required.

Q: Is EK3S male/female or genderless?

A: EK3S is a male/female connector set (not genderless). It uses a keyed (anti‑reverse) design to help prevent incorrect mating.

Q: Can it be connected/disconnected under load (hot plug)?

A: The specification includes “With Load (Hot Plug 250 cycles & 120V) 50A.” Always follow your system safety procedures—hot-plugging may create arcing depending on voltage/current and circuit design.
