Product Features

EK1S is a single-pole, genderless (intermateable) battery connector designed for flexible DC power distribution. Because both halves are identical, the same connector mates with itself (flip 180°), helping reduce SKUs, simplify inventory, and speed up field replacement. Select the appropriate configuration based on required continuous current, system voltage, and cable size.

Inventory Simplification

One connector design serves both sides of the connection—no need to stock separate male/female versions, reducing complexity and carrying costs.

Service-Friendly Design

Field technicians carry fewer parts and make faster replacements. The genderless design eliminates connection confusion during maintenance.

Modular Power Distribution

Single-pole architecture allows flexible system layouts for battery packs, DC distribution panels, and custom power routing applications.

Proven Contact Technology

Stainless steel springs retain contacts and create consistent contact force for extremely low resistance and reliable power transfer over thousands of mating cycles.

Applications

DC Power Distribution: modular layouts for industrial DC systems.

Battery Pack Interfaces: serviceable battery connections.

Equipment Power Input: quick maintenance connections.

FAQ

Q: Can I connect two EK1S connectors of different colors?
A: Yes, unlike the EK2S series, EK1S housings are mechanically keyed the same regardless of color. Color coding in EK1S is typically used for circuit identification (e.g., Red for +, Black for -), not for voltage keying.

Q: How do I assemble a 2-pole or 3-pole connector with EK1S?
A: EK1S housings feature dovetails that allow you to slide and lock multiple housings together to form a permanent block of 2, 3, or more poles.
